Q: What equipment was used to record the samples?
A: All samples were recorded and edited on a ProTools HD system using high end modern and vintage equipment.
Microphones included: Neumann U87, Royer R122, AKG C414, ElectroVoice RE20, Audix D1, Shure SM57, Shure Beta 57a, Shure KSM141, Shure KSM32, Rode K2, Rode NT5s, Sennheiser MD441, Beyer Dynamic M88.
Outboard included: Harrison 3232 channel strips, Universal Audio LA610, Universal Audio 1175, Sebatron VMP 2000e, Digi Pre, Avalon 747, Emperical Labs EL8 Distressors, DBX 900 series compressors and EQs.
Q: I am a student. Is there an educational discount available?
A: Yes there is. If you are a student, interested in purchasing a sample library, send an email via the contact form requesting an educational price. We will get back to you ASAP with pricing and the process. (Will require a scan of student card)
Q: Is there a discount for purchasing multiple sample libraries or formats?
A: Yes there is. This functionality will be automated in the future, but for now, send an email and we will respond with a discount coupon code.
Q: How do I download my purchased drum samples?
A: On completion of your transaction, you will be presented with a 'success' message and links to your purchases for instant download. The links will also be sent to your email account.
Q: Can I buy the samples on CD or DVD?
A: Samples are currently only available for download. However, if you have a slow internet connection, and are unable to download them, send us an email and we may be able to make an exception or you, and only you.
Q: What methods of payment are accepted?
A: Transactions are completed securely via PayPal. Payments can also be made via VISA or MasterCard through PayPal without a PayPal account.
Q: What if I need to re-download my samples due to accidental deletion, or a major computer crash?
A: Records of your purchases are kept on file. In the event that you lose your original download, simply send an email via the contact form and we will send a link to a fresh download.
